here are a few photos -- "as is" & in no particular order, just what spontaneously spoke to me -- of our trip to northern morocco, where we spent most of our time in a native family. it wasn't our first time in this country but it was my first time with a SLR and a good way to learn to shoot sparingly (however i live with somebody who has no interest in cameras & photography, therefore this is a constant struggle for me) while some scenes or people would have been great shots... it seemed to me like a reminder that we sometimes lose sight of what is decent/polite or not, and that to keep an eye glued to a lens might make us miss how it feels to "live" the moment, might make us miss... the best !
it was also a time to learn from others' differences, to eat healthy simple food, and to remember not to take everything for granted. 

i'll be busy this week, because i'm preparing both L's birthday party & a local craft show but i wish you all a happy end of july. thank you for your visits & comments on the previous post, and see you soon xo
